Morgan Childers, Founder and President

Morgan Childers has 30 years of marketing and public relations experience with private sector clients, industries, municipalities, and non-profit organizations and has worked with over 500 Montessori schools throughout the US and abroad. With a marketing and communications degree from California State University at Sacramento, his expertise includes business development, marketing and strategic planning, project management, creative writing, media relations and photography and video production. Morgan’s three children each attended a Montessori school in their hometown of Woodland, CA.

In the private sector, he has worked with over 500 private schools throughout the US, as well as a wide variety of industries including construction management, biotechnology, agriculture, healthcare, hospitality, and performing arts. His experience in the non-profit sector includes downtown business associations, Chambers of Commerce, membership and service organizations, and local nonprofits. In the public sector, Morgan has worked with city and county governments, school districts, transportation districts, water and flood control districts, law enforcement agencies, and other municipalities.

Morgan was elected three times to the Woodland Joint Unified School District Board of Trustees beginning in 2014 and was chosen by his colleagues to serve as President of the Board twice, and Vice-President twice. During his time on the board the district achieved eight consecutive positively certified budgets, the construction of a new elementary school and high school stadium, the creation of a Facilities Master Plan, and the successful passage of a school facility bond measure.

Located on the central coast of California, Morgan is on the Steering Committee of the Cambria Film Festival, is the founder of the Paso Robles Woodcrafters Club, and the co-founder of the band, Second Chance Lucky, that plays live music at local venues and festivals. He is also an award winning songwriter and wrote an original song for the independent film, The Strawberry, starring Mike Farrell (of M*A*S*H fame).

Morgan and his wife, Tanja, share five grown children, three crazy dogs, and a garden where they cultivate over 35 types of fruits and veggies.


Sarah DaSilva, Lead Designer and Web Developer

Sarah brings a wealth of graphic design and web development skills to Go Montessori. She has degrees in both Web Design and Graphic Design. Sarah mixes colors, symbolism, typography, photography and cutting-edge design in creating print and electronic marketing materials that can build and enhance the image of a Montessori school. Sarah is located on the East Coast, adding to our Eastern Standard Time availability and allowing us to better serve our clients no matter where they are in the U.S.!
